BDU delegation meets ISS rector to discuss Joint research and PhD opportunities

BDU’s delegation consisting Mr. Embiale Beyene, Executive Director for Academic Affairs, Mr. Gebretsadik Awgichew, Head of the Department of Political Science and International Studies and Mr. Wuhibegezer Ferede, Researcher at Blue Nile Water Institute and lecturer at the Department of Political Science and International Studies have met and discussed with International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) Rector, Professor Inge Hutter and Deputy Rector, Professor Wil Hout in Sweden.  

In their meeting they have discussed the possibility of supporting BDU PhD Programs in Social Sciences in general and Political Science and International Studies in particular. They have also discussed regarding joint research collaboration on issues like migration, conflict, water and climate change.
